dr_bolouriDr. Ali Bolouri received a DMD from Tehran University, a DDS from Tennessee Medical Center, and a Certificate of Prosthodontics from the Emory University School of Dentistry. He is a professor in the Restorative Sciences Department at Baylor College of Dentistry and he maintains a prosthodontic and implant practice in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Bolouri has authored articles in several leading dental journals and has lectured extensively throughout the country and internationally. He is board certified Prosthodontist by the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Bolouri presents three courses at the College: 1) Complete Denture Fabrication, 2) Implants and Partial Dentures, and 3) Over-the-shoulder Complete Denture Course. Many of Dr. Bolouri's courses include a hands-on component for clinicians to work with him in the laboratory.


dr_groganDr. David Grogan is an Associate Professor and Head of the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Pharmacology at Baylor College of Dentistry. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1981 and received an MSD degree in Oral Surgery in 1986. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. After completion of his residency training, Dr. Grogan entered private practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in Waco, Texas. He was an instrumental participant in designing the new sedation and emergency guidelines for Texas dentists, on behalf of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. In 2003, Dr. Grogan was voted "Teacher of the Year" by the undergraduate students. Dr. Grogan presents all of Baylor's sedation courses, including: 1) Enteral Sedation Initial Permit Course, 2) Enteral Sedation Permit Renewal, 3) Parenteral Sedation Permit Renewal, and 4) Nitrous Oxide Initial Permit for Dentists. Dr. Grogan also presents courses on Pain Management and Oral Surgery.


dr-twilson-useDr. Thomas Wilson received his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1971 and his Certificate in Periodontics in 1974 from the University of Washington. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry and UTHSC-San Antonio. He has lectured extensively on an international level, is the author of numerous journal articles and textbooks, and is a recognized expert in the field of implant surgical placement.



dr_bensonDr. "Pete" Benson is a 1975 graduate of University of Iowa, College of Dentistry and serves as Professor and Director of Radiology in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at Baylor College of Dentistry. He received a Certificate in Dental Diagnostic Science from UT-San Antonio in 1986 and attained Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 1989. He is also a Diplomate with the American Board of Oral Medicine. He has received numerous awards and professional recognitions and has published over 100 books, journal articles and abstracts in various scientific publications. Dr. Benson has become an expert in the area of Digital Radiology over the past several years and has presented this program to numerous dental conventions and meetings throughout the country. Dr. Benson presents all of the College's CE courses on Digital Radiology and Radiography.


talenewDr. Mohsen Taleghani is a Professor and Head of the Department of General Dentistry at the Baylor College of Dentistry. He maintains a part-time private dental practice in Dallas , Texas , with special emphasis on esthetics. Dr. Taleghani has presented lecture and hands-on courses on esthetics, laminates, and composite resins at Baylor and other educational institutions throughout this country and in international venues. In addition to lecturing, his dental research has led to numerous articles and abstracts in various publications. Dr. Taleghani is the resident expert at the College on esthetics, and presents the following hands-on courses at Baylor: 1) Maximizing Esthetics with Laminate Veneers, 2) Maximizing Esthetics with Anterior and Posterior Resins, 3) Metal-Free Crown & Bridge Restorations. All of Dr. Taleghani's CE programs involve a hands-on portion during the final 2-3 hours of the day.
